At the 2022 China Pesticide Export Seminar (CPEW) hosted by AgroPages on August 16-17, 2022, data provided by experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China showed that China’s total pesticide production in 2021 will be nearly 85%, 1.53 million tons, The export volume exceeded 100 billion yuan for the first time.
At CPEW, Cao Bingwei, a senior agronomist at the Institute of Agrochemical Control (ICAMA), analyzed the latest export data of Chinese pesticides. The export of pesticides involves about 820 pesticide production enterprises, nearly 1,000 foreign trade companies and more than 500 pesticide varieties.
