Product Effect
Methylbentonitic acid is an important intermediate of pyrethroids, which can produce diclofenac and triflurothrin to produce pyrethroids such as permethrin, cypermethrin and cyhalothrin. For example, a new synthetic method of pyrethroid-permethrin is to add 3,3- dimethyl-4,6 with methyl bentonitic acid as raw material and ferrous chloride as initiator in closed Chemicalbook system. After cyclization, dehydrohalogenation and hydrolysis acidification, 2,2- dimethyl -3- (vinyl chloride)-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid (meta-chrysanthemic acid) was obtained, and meta-chrysanthemic acid p-methoxybenzyl ester was obtained by refluxing sodium meta-chrysanthemic acid and quaternary ammonium salt.
